Horse Play – King Sized Quilt. 103” x 109”
An original design for the horse lover. The breeds chosen are Clydesdales, Shires, Belgians, Spotted Drafts and Tennessee Walkers. Horse shoes and hearts thrown in for interest.
The horses and horse shoes are machine appliqued to the backing fabrics; the hearts are machined pieced. The quilt is finished with a border to resemble a rail fence. Machine quilted with a random, freehand stippling, circling the horses to accent them.
Over 65 different Batik fabrics were chosen to put this beauty together. Over 140 hours of sewing / appliquéing / quilting to complete the quilt.
