Another original design. Butterfly themed quilt . . . started years ago, and stayed on the UFO (unfinished Objects) stack for a while. I choose a lavender backing for this creation.
Butterflies In My Garden has multicolored butterflies swarming away from multicolored flowers. All machine appliqued on unbleached muslin. Freehand machine quilted to enhance the flowers and butterflies.
As a child, I spent many hours chasing and catching Butterflies (just ask my mom) . . . All colors, sizes and types. I display my prizes in this quilt!
